The Masterpiece of God

For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10 NLT

The Lord is good! I highly suggest that you go back and read all of Ephesians chapter 2. This is one of the greatest testimonies of Gods grace for the world. Paul explains how we are saved by grace, through faith in God. There is no way any of us could ever be good enough on our own to get to God. However without God, we are without hope. It is by Him and through Him, that we have our beings. Apart from Him, we're nothing!
"Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Cor. 5:17 Here Paul states basically the same thing as in Ephesians, but in Ephesians he carries it a little further. He shows us why, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. What kind of things? Many answers can be found for that, but Jesus said the two most important were to 1st, Love God with our whole heart & mind, 2nd to love our neighbor as ourselves. What I find amazing is that without God, we can't love him, ourselves or our neighbors.
