Need Directions? You Seem A Litle Lost...,

"For that is what God is like. He is our God forever and ever, and he will guide us until we die."
Psalm 48:14, NLT

We often pray for God’s guidance as we struggle with decisions. What we need is both guidance and a guide—a map that gives us landmarks and directions as well as a constant companion who has an intimate knowledge of the way and will make sure we interpret the map correctly. The Bible will be such a map, and the Holy Spirit will be the constant companion and guide.

As you make your way through life, use both the map and your Guide. Otherwise you will never find the road to the destination planned for you.

You know one of my many struggles comes from insecurity. I often feel like none of my friends would like me if they really knew me, and my family would dis-own me. Before I was a Christian, I lived complete and different lifestyles, even different personalities, depending on who I was with at the time. Stupid huh? I think we all do this on some level, but I was a true chameleon. Thank God that he has set the captives free. I can't say I don't think about this on occasion, but it used to be crippling. By allowing the Holy Spirit the liberty to change me and clean up my heart, He has lead me into all truth about my identity.

I am a man of God, joint (equal) heir with Christ Jesus. I have been grafted in, adopted and given equal citizenship. I have been made new into the family of God. It doesn't matter if you like me or not, because what you think of me doesn't have any bearing on what God thinks about me!
