No Fear

"So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you."

Deuteronomy 31:6, NLT

Isn't God great?!! In him, we have nothing to fear. There are so many scriptures that tell us not to be afraid that it would take me all day to name them all, but one of my favorites is;

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Tim 1:7

Is that awesome or what? I don't know about you, but I understand fear. While lost in the world, I was strung out on methamphetamine for years. During that time I lived in extreme paranoia. That kind of fear is the darkest place anyone could find themselves in. What a gift to be delivered from that. Not only delivered, but promised that my God will forever walk before me & protect me.
Of whom shall I be afraid?
Even though I walk through the valley of death I WILL FEAR NO EVIL.
