Waiting on The Lord

"But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint."
Isaiah 40:31, NLT

As we walk through our daily lives, it is easy to become discouraged. Especially if the Lord has placed someone on our hearts and we have placed a lot of energy into this person. After we have done everything we can, and there is no visible sign of change, we may begin to doubt if this was God or just my flesh wanting to revel in a good deed.
This is simply another attack from our enemy, "Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, like a roaring lion walketh about, seeking whom he may devour;" 1 Peter 5:8
When be start to become discouraged, or we feel like just giving up, it's then that we really need to "Be still and know that I am God." It is during these time's, when we are at the end of ourselves, that God can do the most amazing things we could ever imagine. When I can't seem to do anything else, I just begin to worship. I listen to my Ipod and rest in His mercy & grace tht endures forever. This is the place where he renews my strength. Then He truly gives me the energy and will to "mount up on wings like eagles." Only in Him can I walk and not faint, only in Him can I run and not grow weary.

  1. Isn't amazing how when we choose to put our focus on Him we become so strong! He is not intimidated by the depth of need in our lives or the lives of others! Love you!
